Doodle 4 Google is an annual competition held by Google to have children create a logo that will be featured on the Google homepage.
In India, it is open to all students from Class 1 to Class 10. This year entrants were invited to create their own Google doodle based on the theme “The place in India I wish to visit”.
Out of 12 finalists, Vaidehi Reddy (Army Public School, Pune) doodle declared as a National Winner and it will feature on Google’s homepage on Children’s Day, 14th November 2014.
Vaidehi Reddy is a national winner and she will receive medals from Google, invitation to the award ceremony, a Chromebook laptop and a 3 night, 4 day trip with her parents, to the place in India she has doodled. And her Doodle will be displayed on the Google India homepage on 14th November 2014.

Group 1 winner, God’s own country Kerala, Sarvagjna Miriyala, DAV Public School, Panvel, Mumbai
Group 2 winner, Ooty’s Beauty, V Sai Latha Rani, Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Vizag
Group 3 winner, Heritage Glorified – Hampi, Sai Greeshma, Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Vizag
And also all the 12 finalists will be invited to the award ceremony, certificates and a Chromebook laptop.
